Here's what I always say: The country certainly has a history where that is concerned. But we, as individuals, can only control what is in our own universe. And you or I can't control what some nutball may try to do or how the Secret Service does their job. But we can control what we do and what we think. I choose to believe that while there are individuals who would do harm, collectively we are better than that. If the unthinkable happens, I'll deal with it then. But we can't let fear stop us for voting for this remarkable man. So, you're not exactly wrong to worry, but where does it get you? You have no control over those sorts of things. Dwell in the positive. Seven more days.</div></div></div> Tue, 28 Oct 2008 03:30:11 +0000 Orlando comment 489 at http://dagblog.com
