I am not surprised at all. Like many homophobes who have been shown in scientific studies to actually be harboring and trying to suppress homoerotic tendencies, often the preacher guys with the most vehement beliefs about wedlock and children have philandering proclivities. There is a strain of Christianity that believes because they are saved, they can judge others. Of course they are not judging, they are simply relaying what God says ( to them)..

Marvin's brother Benjamin "Bebe" Winans also has an ex-wife. Bebe was briefly arrested for domestic violence against his ex, but subsequently cleared. I am certain that Marvin would have forgiven his brother under any circumstance.

Pastor Marvin Winans is divorced from his ex-wife Vickie. Marvin and Vickie had two children together. Pastor Winans is the father of another son by a woman not his wife. Pastor Winans is single. How can Marvin Winans refuse to bless a child born out of wedlock? I suppose he has more love for his son than for the children of others.
