His conclusion did not logically follow from what he wrote. I expected a call for rethinking at least one of the relationships. Still, kudos to him for at least asking the questions.

As I comment there are six responses to Miller's piece at the FP site. They are mostly well stated, all very critical, and every single one thinks Miller's conclusions are wrong.
