He is so incompetent. He spent mostly his money in the last election. I don't know if he has much support except from the Koch Bros. Crist was pursued by the Democrats to run. He really would like to be in the Senate. I think many of the millionaires that have retired here is quietly supporting Crist because he leans right of center. He has some big donors. He did a lot of clean up after Jeb. Jeb put many changes in that failed. So people know what they are getting with Crist. Crist will hold back the bat crap crazies in the state house and maintain the state so it can function. He will also protect the public employees of the state from further eroding their pay and benefits. He has already proved that in his last term.

We are expecting the State Supreme Court to redraw the districts to comply with the state constitution on fair districting. The case has moved in the favor of the League of Women Voters and other groups that went after gerrymandering. This will unpack all the democrats out of a few districts and we will pick up another Congressional House seat in FL-10. Where it will really matter is in the state house. This was a constitutional amendment that past a couple of cycles ago by a wide 60+% margin.

Democrats because of south end of the state should do well in state wide offices. We do have some good people running. We also now have all the major cities with Democratic Mayors. The Cuban populations that was solid Republican has shrunk because they have aged out and younger ones don't hold the same hate towards Cuba and Democrats. Also many have moved to other parts of the country over the years. The Republicans now know that they can't rely on them anymore in Miami to pull them through an election even for a national one.

Florida has a good grass roots machine for the Democrats. There is now 5 groups that meet regularly every month in my area. There maybe more liberal community groups that don't fly the Democrat Party flag that work with the poor that I don't know about who support elections. We also have some service employee unions in the area that are active on the local level.

Florida Democrats should gain some ground in this next election if things stay as they are right now. It is still early.

Mon, 30 Dec 2013 00:04:45 +0000 momoe comment 187805 at http://dagblog.com Oh my reply never took, as http://dagblog.com/comment/187789#comment-187789
In reply to The top of my list of the

Oh my reply never took, as they say.

The Florida Governor is one of the worst human beings in office I have witnessed over the past year (s) and I have come to the conclusion that he has no idea what in the hell is doing.

He is a hundred millionaire or a billionaire who was going to change the world and he just became lost.
