Thanks, Arta. At this late point and because everything in the headline is pertinent to the article I will leave it and be more careful next time. I assume that an edit would push it back to the top of the list. Going back to see how it happened I saw that the extra wording was fine print which I hadn't noticed was highlighted and when I previewed the submission the extra part was above the view and I only checked to see that the link worked correctly.

Once there's comments on a news thread, it's extremely easy for you as the author to fix something like that. Scroll up and you'll see that there's an "Edit" tab for you right at the top left of your original post.

Doing it before there's comments on it just requires a few more steps to get to the page. If you're interested on how: you go to "My account" and then hit the "Track" tab and find the post listed there and you'll be able to edit it. Also you can delete a post that way, for example, if you post twice by mistake.
