Oh no. I well aware of what you're talking about. Its just very complicated and I wouldn't ever attempt to have a rational dialog with you about it. I pick my subjects and limit how far I'm willing to be side tracked, and I don't get drawn into dialog on subject with people I don't think can handle them. You have a simple version of the world and I think I've already gone beyond your level of sophistication with my last post.

Educate yourself on the racism in Buckley's National Review. I think you need to find more time in the day to read. Also read up on all of the details of your buddy Ron Paul, you avoiding addressing it.

If I brushed aside Farrakhan's racism and anti-Semitism like you brush off Ron Paul's racism, I would be challenged and crticized.

Wright is simply a local preacher who is famous for having Obama as a member of his congregation. I don't consider him worth the time to study because I never thought his affiliation with Obama was significant enough to tarnish Obama. I've always thought his membership in the church was mostly politically motivated. You just seemed to hate Wright so much I was curious why. Do you seriously consider Wright such a major historical figure that one needs to study him? Anyway thanks for the reference. I did look it up and I agree he's antisemitic. After the initial brew ha ha I ignored him as a non entity. So I didn't see some of the later interviews. There's only so much time in a day to read.

I haven't read or watched any speeches by Farrakhan so I don't know, but he is listed by organizations I respect as an antisemitic so its likely that is true. But I don't recall seeing anything about Jeremy Wright accusing him of antisemitism. Do you have a link to his antisemitic speech?

On another thread, people are praising Ron Paul's stand on drugs. His racism does not matter. They isolate on his view on drugs. Somehow, I don't think Farrakhan or Wright would get the same type of understanding. It is interesting to watch. Two different worlds.

Both Ron and Rand Paul are manipulating the gullible. They are both corporate feudalists who are intent on weakening the government in order to create a vacuum of power so the most malevolent forces in society, the corporate feudalists, can step in and occupy that vacuum. They’re engaged in conventional Republicanism, but with a twist.

The Republicans have been trying to undermine the New Deal, along with its attendant social safety net, every since it’s inception. But they’ve been unsuccessful because these programs enjoy overwhelming public support. So the libertarians have decided to take a new tact. They are cherry-picking issues that have broad public support, like abolishing certain drug laws, and then playing on the public desire to be left alone by the government, in order to garner wider support. But what these single-issue supporters don’t realize is, once libertarians gain power they intend to turn this nation into a corporate state, just like most other Republicans are intent upon.

Another thing that Paul supporters are not considering is that we can control government. All we have to do is wake up, organize, and vote the right people into office. But once the corporate feudalists take over, we won’t have that option - ask the people of Michigan (Michighanistan) whose duly elected officials have been thrown out of office by Gov. Rick Snyder, and replaced with corporate cronies who have absolutely no obligation to the voters. It’s a classic bait-n-switch scam.

You can be crazy if you are White. Take Ron Paul for example. Paul has made statements about freeing all non-violent drug offenders. Ron Paul also has a history of publishing racist newsletters and supporting the ability of public businesses to discriminate against minority groups. Paul is considered a hero for taking a bold stance on drugs.

If you compare Ron Paul to Louis Farrakhan and say that Farrakhan supports Black families, Black adoption and Black entrepreneurship; and should be praised for challenging Black men to be morally upstanding citizens, you would be considered insane. Farrakhan is a well-mannered, well dressed anti-Semite and racist. You simply cannot use Farrakhan as an example of someone worthy of any praise. Ron Paul gets a pass, Farrakhan does not.

If former General Colin Powell made a similar statement with a White President in office, he could never show his face in public again let alone be a news analyst.
