I also could not format for a break for the front page and spell check didn't work. All that went away with chrome.  </p> </div></div></div> Tue, 22 Apr 2014 03:16:49 +0000 trkingmomoe comment 194754 at http://dagblog.com Thank you, TRK, Michael. I'm going to have to do something, because if I hit "Enter," absolutely nothing happens. Michael, I use those little dots between my paragraphs routinely now, because of formatting  problems all over the internet. Many sites will fuse an article into one long paragraph. So when I go in to correct the problem I can use those dots as paragraph indicators.</p> </div></div></div> Tue, 22 Apr 2014 02:45:15 +0000 Wattree comment 194753 at http://dagblog.com What a GREAT album cover http://dagblog.com/comment/194749#comment-194749 <a id="comment-194749"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/reader-blogs/know-truth-and-truth-shall-set-you-free-18476">Know the Truth, and the Truth Shall Set You Free</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>What a GREAT album cover shot.</p> <p>An art form that's gone the way of the dodo byrd.</p> </div></div></div> Mon, 21 Apr 2014 21:25:52 +0000 Anonymous PS comment 194749 at http://dagblog.com I had to start using Google http://dagblog.com/comment/194733#comment-194733 <a id="comment-194733"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/194729#comment-194729">Okay, Michael. Yeah, I notice that you use those periods for line breaks. Cut-and-paste is a little finicky. It sometimes puts in weird formatting that makes it difficult to edit. We're going to get an upgrade in a couple of weeks, so let's see if you still have the problem after the upgrade. If so, I'll help you debug it.</p> </div></div></div> Mon, 21 Apr 2014 19:19:06 +0000 Michael Wolraich comment 194732 at http://dagblog.com Okay, Michael. I was trying to make some minor edits that wouldn't take, so I just deleted the entire post and reposted it. That's why any edits that you made were overwritten, because it's a different post. But while I have you, I can't put a blank space between my paragraphs. Whenever I want to edit the post, I have to do the editing on my blog or on a word processor and replace the entire post. Would you please advise me on that?</p> </div></div></div> Mon, 21 Apr 2014 18:55:13 +0000 Wattree comment 194729 at http://dagblog.com Hi Wattree, thanks for the http://dagblog.com/comment/194723#comment-194723 <a id="comment-194723"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/reader-blogs/know-truth-and-truth-shall-set-you-free-18476">Know the Truth, and the Truth Shall Set You Free</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Hi Wattree, thanks for the excellent piece. When I put posts on the home page, I often edit the intro paragraph for typos and layout consistency so that home page looks OK. It seems like you've overwritten my edits, which has occasionally happened before. In future, would you please make sure to leave these edits in place? They actually take me a while to do. Thanks, Michael</p> </div></div></div> Mon, 21 Apr 2014 16:43:21 +0000 Michael Wolraich comment 194723 at http://dagblog.com RM, While real churches may http://dagblog.com/comment/194709#comment-194709 <a id="comment-194709"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/194704#comment-194704">The Black churches that</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>RM,</p> <p>While real churches may still exist, they’re obviously falling down on their mission in a big way, because while I see hell-raisers all around us, all I hear is crickets coming from God’s warriors. Yet, they all seem to be quite prosperous. They seem to be much more interested in our political attitudes (whether or not gays should marry) than they are how we treat our neighbor. In short, they seem to be more interested in promoting the divisive issues of doctrine than they are in promoting the existential issues attendant to "Love thy neighbor."</p> </div></div></div> Sun, 20 Apr 2014 23:50:29 +0000 Wattree comment 194709 at http://dagblog.com The Black churches that http://dagblog.com/comment/194704#comment-194704 <a id="comment-194704"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/reader-blogs/know-truth-and-truth-shall-set-you-free-18476">Know the Truth, and the Truth Shall Set You Free</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>The Black churches that minister to the community rarely make the news. There prosperity pimp preachers are the ones who appear on television with their large congregations and ornate churches Joel Osteen is one of the more well known of the pimps. The pimp mentality is shared by Devout Mormon Mitt Romney and devout Catholic Paul Ryan. Romney demonizes the "47%" and Ryan creates budgets that cuts programs aimed at the poor. The new prosperity pimps blame the poor for being poor, even as Romney profited by putting people out of work. The pimps ignore Jesus' words about caring for the poor. The real churches still exist.</p> <p> </p> </div></div></div> Sun, 20 Apr 2014 21:10:36 +0000 rmrd0000 comment 194704 at http://dagblog.com
