As a consequence, anyone who identifies with Islamist religious and political organizations is a potential supporter and recruit for al-Qaida and its sister organizations.

There are miles of text where these distinctions are made excruciatingly clear in all the official documents. To say that making all who express "Islamist" points of view are all a part of the same agenda is very incorrect.

It takes very little research to find this out for oneself.

Thu, 03 Jul 2014 01:07:59 +0000 moat comment 197114 at http://dagblog.com Glick has weak reading http://dagblog.com/comment/197100#comment-197100
In reply to ISIS,the US,and Iran

Glick has weak reading comprehension skills. The Nine Eleven Commission Report notes different connections between Iran and Al Qaida but says this too:

We have found no evidence that Iran or Hezbollah was aware of the planning for what later became the 9/ 11 attack. At the time of their travel through
Iran, the al Qaeda operatives themselves were probably not aware of the specific details of their future operation.
After 9/ 11, Iran and Hezbollah wished to conceal any past evidence of
cooperation with Sunni terrorists associated with al Qaeda. A senior Hezbollah official disclaimed any Hezbollah involvement in 9/11.128
We believe this topic requires further investigation by the U.S. government.

I have to go to work now. If I have time later, I will debunk some of the other misinformation in the piece. What a steaming pile of something steaming.

One can well imagine terrorist groups with the same enemies might trade resources with each other but they haven't made hallucinogens with enough power to get me to imagine Iran secretly creating a Caliphate in Iraq.

Wed, 02 Jul 2014 14:04:59 +0000 moat comment 197100 at http://dagblog.com
