This is the shift I am seeing in older Republican women here in Florida. I am meeting Democrats that are left of center that is not afraid to speak up. Only a decade ago I had to keep my mouth shut so I would not get beat up with right wing talking points that made no sense. 20 years ago I had to work in conditions with Rush Limbaugh bellowing in the background instead of music. Reality has seeped into people lives and they are realizing the failures of racism and trickle down economics.

Odd he fails to realize that area to the left where he's moving was once called the political center ... as the republicans moved further right so too did the Democrats so that now both are camped to the right of what was once the middle ground between the two where those who had doubts could go and look for a different perspective.
