I try to console myself that I'm helping to pay for the insurance of those who might need help, but I feel unsatisfied that my "donation" (<em>i.e.</em>, the extra money I am sending to the insurance company that is beyond what I would be paying for a catastrophic policy) is going to a corporate "person" rather than to a government (or charity).
