The amazing story is how the Cubans kept these oldies running without replacement parts from the US.</p> <p>It is typical  of some Amerikans to gloat over what we can take from Cuba now because we have so little to offer them. It is also very interesting that Fidel has been silent about this development.</p> <p> </p> </div></div></div> Fri, 19 Dec 2014 16:43:38 +0000 Peter comment 202041 at http://dagblog.com Is it too much to ask of http://dagblog.com/comment/202033#comment-202033 <a id="comment-202033"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/201970#comment-201970">Need I point out that this</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Is it too much to ask of conspiracy theorists that they learn how to spell conspiracy? Talk about linguistically and semiologically complex. It gets my head spinning in circles if I think on it. They really are the radicals and Obama the moderate is "conservative" in comparison. Theirs is a world where thinking of humans as nuanced complex beings is not considered. Ironically, so similar to Robespierre, so similar to the Khmer Rouge, so similar to...the early Fidel!</p> </div></div></div> Fri, 19 Dec 2014 07:09:05 +0000 artappraiser comment 202023 at http://dagblog.com Thanks http://dagblog.com/comment/202000#comment-202000 <a id="comment-202000"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/201996#comment-201996">You get the deeply analytic</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Thanks</p> </div></div></div> Thu, 18 Dec 2014 15:27:17 +0000 rmrd0000 comment 202000 at http://dagblog.com Obama's move includes almost http://dagblog.com/comment/201999#comment-201999 <a id="comment-201999"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/link/two-secret-heroes-us-cuba-deal-pope-francis-and-canada-19123">The two secret heroes of the US-Cuba deal: Pope Francis and Canada</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Obama's move includes almost every crime in the Stalinist Article 58 so loved by Republicans as a model of True Merican Campaign Attack Ad malarkey and Freedumb:</p> <p><strong>Diversionary act </strong>which makes GOP look stuck in the 1960's, while diverting attention from his other crimes</p> <p><strong>Collusion </strong>with anti-Tea Party <strong>foreign subversives</strong> like the<strong> Pope,</strong></p> <p><strong>Counter Teavolutionary</strong> conspiracy by making Cuba and Cubans less <span style="font-size:16px"><em>s-c-a-r-y</em></span> !!</p> <p><strong>Wrecking </strong>chances a future Republican could threaten war with Cuba to get elected....</p> </div></div></div> Thu, 18 Dec 2014 13:51:57 +0000 NCD comment 201999 at http://dagblog.com How come no one has mentioned http://dagblog.com/comment/201997#comment-201997 <a id="comment-201997"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/link/two-secret-heroes-us-cuba-deal-pope-francis-and-canada-19123">The two secret heroes of the US-Cuba deal: Pope Francis and Canada</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>How come no one has mentioned beezball yet?<br />  </p> </div></div></div> Thu, 18 Dec 2014 11:02:13 +0000 artappraiser comment 201997 at http://dagblog.com You get the deeply analytic http://dagblog.com/comment/201996#comment-201996 <a id="comment-201996"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/201971#comment-201971">Cuba is about the get hit</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>You get the<a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/201994#comment-201994"> deeply analytic comment  </a>of the week award!
