[tangentially related to "Harem"]

Meanwhile, David Brooks has a good "values" scandal to follow up on - Republican legislator gives up 2 adopted daughters as "possessed" only to be sexually abused by his aide/their new foster father. I'm sure he'll be on this right away, just as soon as he finishes his columns on the sinnery of poor people not saving enough as caused by their lewd behavior and how irresponsible sick people are destroying America's health institutions by not going in for premium care.

Sat, 14 Mar 2015 00:49:00 +0000 PeraclesPlease comment 205417 at http://dagblog.com Some times Charley Pierce http://dagblog.com/comment/205316#comment-205316
In reply to Ho hum - 1 ex-Wyoming

Some times Charley Pierce makes me laugh over at Esquire.

Wed, 11 Mar 2015 23:28:35 +0000 trkingmomoe comment 205316 at http://dagblog.com Ho hum - 1 ex-Wyoming http://dagblog.com/comment/205301#comment-205301
In reply to The Most Important People In The World Are From Arkansas

Ho hum - 1 ex-Wyoming Congressman / VP put himself in charge of secret foreign policy for 8 years. 1 leader from the Mideast puts himself in charge of our Congress. 1 Senator from Nebraska decides women won't get abortion services. A few bailed out execs on Wall Street got bonuses on the backs of millions of homeless people. How many unelected donors have instant access to government action, unlike the rest of us? If decisions ever even involved 500,000 people rather than 3 close buddies/collaborators, that'd be amazing. As it is, it's more like Tyson Chicken and Wal-Mart are doing this, not the citizens of the state of Arkansas - theyre unwitting victims like the rest of us.

Wed, 11 Mar 2015 18:17:36 +0000 PeraclesPlease comment 205301 at http://dagblog.com
