I agree with you. But all the things you listed that they ranted and raved about got me thinking about how was they going to top that with HRC. The crazies just dove right off the cliff day one with 2008's primary. When Obama won, they went into complete suicide mode. So since her running was not a surprise, I expected to see their derangement about the Clintons to be front and center the first day. Their response was quite weak or maybe it is because I have heard all of it for the last 20 years.

Like I attempted to point out, we cannot get what we want, but if we try, and we really try, we can get what we need.

We need Hillary right now.

She is a woman of course.

She has been a life long Democrat.

She really stands by the beliefs of the Left, including me.

She has experience beyond most powerful people in this country.

Hillary is what I want.

Not just what I need.

But who am I?

I like Warren, I like Webb (for heaven's sake), I like this other fellow from Maryland and I certainly love Sanders.

But I think Hillary can do the job,I think Hillary can win and we really do need a female leader in my humble opinion.

It certainly been a historic weekend. Hillary's announcement did take the focus off of the Pan American Conference. It won't take too long for President Obama to announce Cuba being taken off the terrorist list. I think the embassy is to open this summer. It will be a good will gesture either before or at the same time.

I thought I would wander over to Red State and take a little look. I haven't been there in a while. I expected lots of hate going on with this weekend events but was surprised to see not many comments. Just to let you know, you had more going on then Eric Erickson. There was no mention of President Obama's meeting with Castro. Their complaints against HRC lacked depth. We had better critics here that was looking under her hood then what Red State could come up with. Rinse and Spin wrote a shallow piece asking for help to form a grass roots effort to stop HRC. He squeezed a bunch of old tired talking points into it. He is going to have to do better then that to rally up a campaign against her. So what I actually read was a lot of stupid instead of actual hard hitting commentary.

We will have to see how HRC rolls out her campaign this month. So far the clown car has had nothing but messy roll outs. Oh and the Republicans are convinced that 29% of the Democratic party is up for grabs so they think they have a chance with the 29%. Only I am not sure what 29% they are talking about?
