Some dude name Brooks introduced a stupid bill to limit what foods people on food stamps can purchase.  This is the 3rd Koch controlled state to do this in the last few months. I have been waiting for it to pop up in Florida but we are headed to a shut down over ACA. The bills restricting food purchase are trying to challenge the program.  Also it just a big insult to the intelligence of people who have to rely on them. I don't think the Kochs are all that sane in their old age. </p> </div></div></div> Mon, 04 May 2015 21:31:33 +0000 trkingmomoe comment 207748 at http://dagblog.com Flower said the same thing http://dagblog.com/comment/207746#comment-207746 <a id="comment-207746"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/207745#comment-207745">Hiya, Dick.  Got fed up with</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Flower said the same thing about her wi fi.  You just have to keep trying until one sticks. </p> </div></div></div> Mon, 04 May 2015 21:06:47 +0000 trkingmomoe comment 207746 at http://dagblog.com Hiya, Dick.  Got fed up with http://dagblog.com/comment/207745#comment-207745 <a id="comment-207745"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/207662#comment-207662">Hi Jolly!</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Hiya, Dick.  Got fed up with my cranky wi fi swallowing posts for a minute, but I'm over it...</p> </div></div></div> Mon, 04 May 2015 20:53:56 +0000 jollyroger comment 207745 at http://dagblog.com God, I sure thought it would http://dagblog.com/comment/207744#comment-207744 <a id="comment-207744"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/207614#comment-207614">You present this telephone</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>God, I sure thought it would at the time!  The guy is dumber than dirt, and venal to the core.  The fact that it made hardly a ripple is emblamatic of what we have descended.</p> </div></div></div> Mon, 04 May 2015 20:53:00 +0000 jollyroger comment 207744 at http://dagblog.com Hi Jolly! http://dagblog.com/comment/207662#comment-207662 <a id="comment-207662"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/reader-blogs/mccutcheon-chief-justice-roberts-chooses-institutional-over-party-loyalty-19536">McCutcheon: Chief Justice Roberts chooses institutional over party loyalty.</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Hi Jolly!</p> <p>Good to see you again.</p> <p>I assume that you are referring to regulations concerning the election of judges, statewide.</p> <p>I was a little taken back.</p> <p>I recall Judge Roy Bean</p> <p><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Bean">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Bean</a></p> <p>I still think the world would be better off with Roberts retiring to some lobbyist firm where he could make a billion bucks a year.</p> <p>The telephone call just sends me back to Milwaukee decades ago (or really now) when there was Dem justice in the state but no justice in the cities.</p> <p> </p> </div></div></div> Fri, 01 May 2015 19:16:00 +0000 Richard Day comment 207662 at http://dagblog.com You present this telephone http://dagblog.com/comment/207614#comment-207614 <a id="comment-207614"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/207607#comment-207607">It beggars imagination the</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>You present this telephone conversation like it might have been a bad thing.</p> <p>The really bad thing is how it didn't tank Walker's political career.</p> </div></div></div> Thu, 30 Apr 2015 23:24:22 +0000 Oxy Mora comment 207614 at http://dagblog.com It beggars imagination the http://dagblog.com/comment/207607#comment-207607 <a id="comment-207607"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/reader-blogs/mccutcheon-chief-justice-roberts-chooses-institutional-over-party-loyalty-19536">McCutcheon: Chief Justice Roberts chooses institutional over party loyalty.</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>It beggars imagination the extent to which  the phrase "the appearance<span style="font-size:13px"> of corruption" has been eviscerated of all meaning, somehow.</span></p> <div class="media_embed" height="360px" width="640px"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="360px" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/WBnSv3a6Nh4?feature=player_detailpage" width="640px"></iframe></div> <p> </p> <p> </p> </div></div></div> Thu, 30 Apr 2015 21:15:50 +0000 jollyroger comment 207607 at http://dagblog.com
