I agree that given the embedded two-party system, we need to work within its confines. I voted for Ross Perot because I was tired of the 2 parties, which got Bill Clinton elected (which, at the time, was an awful outcome for me - in hindsight, not so much!)

If Bernie were to run as an independent, we would be handing the presidency to the Repubs, no ifs ands or buts about it.

Jason Miller is a big fan of working within the Repub party to bring about change, but I just can't do that. So working to pull the Dems left without going so far as to make them unelectable, is my preference.
