I really hate sex scandals. I have a lot of friends, on the receiving end of being cheated on, who really enjoyed the Ashley Madison schadenfreude, but all I see is people being unnecessarily exposed for some moments of weakness or unhappiness. This is where I think we're just, as a society, too eager to shame people while other, actually shameful behavior goes unremarked on or is even celebrated. Mona's written good things on that topic.
