Israeli oilmen are buying Iraqi Kurdish oil, also not legal, that has smuggled Islamic State oil mixes with it that is piped through Turkey to waiting tankers. Other countries oilmen also buy this oil when the source can be disguised because it is a bargain and profits always find a way around legality. The shippers transfer oil between ships and send decoy tankers to avoid satellite tracking to clean up the history of the oil and easily find buyers. The one tanker of Kurdish oil that was refused unloading in Texas ended up in Israel.

Kurdish, Turkish and Syrian truckers have been buying this oil because it is very profitable and some of it is sold to Syrians in Assad controlled territory. Now that everyone is bombing the truckers and the oil fields Russia will probably have to supply Assad to cover the shortfall or there will be more angry cold Syrians to deal with.

Kurdish and Turkish smugglers are transporting oil from ISIS controlled territory in Syria and Iraq and selling it to Israel, according to several reports in the Arab and Russian media.

While the original source may give reason to question the reports, the fact that those reports are carried without criticism or correction in the Israeli publication would seem to say that the "Globes" an Israeli business publication, gives some level of credence to the story
