Nice blog, though I think Trump is giving meat to the hyperpolitical but policy agnostic view that seems will have huge fallout for Republican mainstays from Liberty University to Fox News, the conservative establishment as well as the Tea Party. There is no security/defense policy for the right anymore - it's simply "bomb and bomb harder". All the social red-lines are scuffed and faded, so some candidates will get a pass, some for that, all depends on the situation, which they were always supposedly against moral relativism, yet that's all they have now, aside from a few perverse caricatures like espousing freedom while building a big wall. Social values like not getting lots of divorces or even the church thing are all damaged goods at this point. Even the birther message has turned completely arbitrary - they've tattered their own constitutional rules. The only real question is: "will the (conservative) electorate care or notice?"
