Trump's attack and giving the finger to Fox News, the conservative media powerhouse, may be the most brilliant political move ever attempted and it worked, his numbers and wins keep rising.

Tue, 01 Mar 2016 16:27:30 +0000 Peter comment 219670 at http://dagblog.com The media did not undermine http://dagblog.com/comment/219659#comment-219659
In reply to What is happening this

The media did not undermine Trump, they promoted him. Trump was best buddies with the anchors on "Fox & Friends" and "Morning Joe". Trump did not have to lay out large amounts for advertising the so-called news shows used him to boost ratings and therefore gave him free advertising. The media created Trump.

Edit to add:

On the other hand, the media coverage of Hillary has been negative since the beginning

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/brittany-l-stalsburg-phd/hillary-clintons-...

And This

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/eric-boehlert/-clinton-campaign-coverag_b_...

Tue, 01 Mar 2016 14:44:24 +0000 rmrd0000 comment 219659 at http://dagblog.com That is the anti Hillary vote http://dagblog.com/comment/219656#comment-219656
In reply to That is so weird. Democrats

That is the anti Hillary vote. That 20% seems to be holding in polling. We know there are lots of Republicans that have a deep dislike for Clinton but there is also Democratic voters that feel that way towards Clinton. This isn't Sanders supporters having hissy fits but voters that have come to dislike her through her career for various reasons. This could have a drag on turn out if she is nominated.

Tue, 01 Mar 2016 12:43:39 +0000 trkingmomoe comment 219656 at http://dagblog.com ME TOO! http://dagblog.com/comment/219651#comment-219651
In reply to I hope that is correct

ME TOO!

Tue, 01 Mar 2016 04:35:57 +0000 Richard Day comment 219651 at http://dagblog.com Yes, this seems plausibly http://dagblog.com/comment/219648#comment-219648
In reply to What is happening this

Yes, this seems plausibly correct.

If Trump has, indeed, neutralized his party elites (and they were particularly weak headed into this, had it not been Trump it might have been Cruz), then those people have only one hope for relevance:

Eat crow and kiss Trump butt.

And... they will.

Tue, 01 Mar 2016 02:46:54 +0000 Michael Maiello comment 219648 at http://dagblog.com The people who I'd expect to http://dagblog.com/comment/219647#comment-219647
In reply to I hope not. Trump has already stripped them of their power and influence and if he is elected they will pay for their panicked and elitist rejection of the Peoples choice.

Working people of all political descriptions are fed up with politics and the parasites that feed in that cesspool. What the pundits and their ilk do, support HRC or continue to try to undermine Trump will probably have little effect on who votes for Trump because many people have rejected being lead by these parasites and actually have a choice this time.

The fact that people may be able to destroy the power and influence of both party elites and their minions in a single election is truly amazing but both party elites are doing their best to guarantee their own downfall.

Tue, 01 Mar 2016 02:41:02 +0000 Peter comment 219645 at http://dagblog.com I hope not.
