DD, you are the King of the Segue! I love the way you tie things together, and you always make me think. My roommate went to one of those talks too back in the 70's. I know it was very expensive and she couldn't leave all day. I think the message went something like this: Seek your potential. Hahaha! Deep, huh?

i like to think I am immune to advertising, but here I am with an Apple watch on my wrist, and I am going to try to install my two new Nest thermostats once I get the nerve to wire them up. My car is 12 years old, and I will drive it until it dies, so I do have some sales resistance. I take your meaning though. The GOP has successfully lulled their base into a stupor and now they (hopefully) are getting their comeuppance.
