I have done the other app writing thing but what I have come to prefer is to write a reply in a separate tab and copy and paste from and to it as circumstances require.

So that page stays the same through the process and I use the other tab to actually post, preview, etcetera.

You know, you're right, Dick. Putting ink to paper is an underused talent these days ... although I must admit that I'm still quite fond of the pencil.

I think Smith and Cleveland most probably ink it first.

They write their essays out in ink.

To tell the truth, I have to ink it every time I comment on a post by Mr. Smith.

Of course I count with my fingers. hahahahah

I usually will skip Word and just rewrite what I wrote on Dagblog.

Ink is there always as a fall back.

Sometimes I start with an idea on my ink notepad.

Even for some blog.

So I begin something on Word or Notepad or whatever the hell is working at the time and then everything shrinks and so I copy and paste it earlier than I would care too on Dagblog and then I work on it.

I might blog something and change it or add to it five times in an hour.

Besides I need to re-link all my links and of course there is the music and....

I'm sure it was an alien bug of some sort that caused a miss-click. I actually started out responsibly, saving what had not yet become great literature, but as genius overtook me and the sweat poured from my fevered brow ... I kinda forgot. My bad! ;-)

Jesus and Satan have a discussion as to who is the better programmer. This goes on for a few hours until they come to an agreement to hold a contest, with God as the judge.

They sit themselves at their computers and begin. They type furiously, lines of code streaming up the screen, for several hours straight. Seconds before the end of the competition, a bolt of lightning strikes, taking out the electricity. Moments later, the power is restored, and God announces that the contest is over.

He asks Satan to show what he has come up with. Satan is visibly upset, and cries, "I have nothing. I lost it all when the power went out."

"Very well, then," says God, "let us see if Jesus fared any better."

Jesus enters a command, and the screen comes to life in vivid display, the voices of an angelic choir pour forth from the speakers. Satan is astonished.

He stutters, "B-b-but how? I lost everything, yet Jesus' program is intact. How did he do it?"

God smiled all-knowingly, "Jesus saves."

Hi Missy, I'm very sorry about that. How did it get wiped? Was it the bug or a miss-click? I'll try to put aside some time soon to see if I can get to the bottom of that bug.

I second Mr. Smith's suggestion about writing the post in notepad. I've also found that I can sometimes get back to the edit page with the content intact by clicking the back button.
