They make them have the big back packs so the papers that are sent home will fit flat. I always called them turtle shells because that is what they reminded me of on the backs of such little kids.

My youngest grandson is going in All Childrens Hospital in Tampa for tests on Thursday. They want to figure out what is causing the acid reflux that he is experiencing.

My first baby ended up incubated.

Like they say, I had no idea.

She survived as a contributing member of society and a wonderful woman.

This lady lost two babies and one survived.

And this lady had to 'leave' her baby alone in the world.

There are portals and stages and....

But in the end, one must send their child into the world.

Well, yeah. It got to me too. Thanks for making me cry ... in a good way. I have no point of reference other than my own experience going off to kindergarten when I was still three months away from being 5 years old, but I'm pretty sure my mom was just like that mother, crying about her baby taking his first steps into the world beyond home and praying that I was ready. You're right, it is a big deal.
