The profit is not in counting the votes but producing an out come. Why do you think Stein is being bank rolled for a recount in that state? They are looking for the source of the possible bad count. Actually they know what counties to look in because of statistical analysis that has been done. They have to go through the court to get a chance to analyze the equipment.

You are not the only one that noticed Hillary out preformed the Senate races. Not only was Feingold more left than Hillary but he was such a proponent of campaign finance reform the law over turned in the Supreme Court ruling on Citizen's United was named after him. McCain-Feingold act. Yet Hillary out performed him. So why did Feingold lose and why did Hillary do better than he did? By the way, Wisconsin isn't the only state where Hillary got more votes than the democratic senate candidate.

Tue, 29 Nov 2016 07:20:13 +0000 ocean-kat comment 230921 at http://dagblog.com Great comment Flavius. http://dagblog.com/comment/230919#comment-230919
In reply to It's an emotional relief to

Great comment Flavius. People voted for Trump instead of Clinton for all kinds of reasons and that list is long. I have had a couple of internet friends that have emailed me to tell me they were voting for Trump but didn't want anyone to know that publicly or their family in order to keep peace.

Hillary was the wrong candidate to run in this election. She didn't move far enough to the left for the current voters. She was the poster person for the establishment in an anti establishment election. How do you think Trump beat 15 other Republicans in the primary? He was not part of the establishment.

The Democrat Party has to now pick up the pieces and build new coalitions with groups of people that voted for Trump. If they don't, the party will remain out of power.

Tue, 29 Nov 2016 06:29:49 +0000 trkingmomoe comment 230919 at http://dagblog.com I support the democratic http://dagblog.com/comment/230917#comment-230917
In reply to It's an emotional relief to

I support the democratic party because on most issues they align with my views. Often they don't go far enough. Often they are not bold. But even if they aren't going as far or as fast as I'd like they are almost always going in the right direction. I would rather the democrats be a minority party, a voice crying out in the wilderness, than win with the policies of a Joe Lieberman or a Jim Webb et al. At some point, if the democrats move to far to the right it wouldn't make sense for me to vote for them at all. At some point I'd decide I have to vote third party. And I've never done that.

Tue, 29 Nov 2016 05:31:54 +0000 ocean-kat comment 230917 at http://dagblog.com They voted for a con man. http://dagblog.com/comment/230913#comment-230913
In reply to It's an emotional relief to

They voted for a con man.
