So, if they aren't planning on doing what the UN resolution prohibited, why is Bibi making his usual stink? Just because he likes to be an ungrateful asshole, or because he knows he will get carte blanche from dt? I cant think of a third possibility, can you?

And at whatever point you attempt to talk about it you'll be told, reasonably enough , you can't discuss , say, Rabin's assassination or Sharon's facilitation of the Lebanese Christians' attack on Shatilla without also discussing the "Seven days war"or the bombing of the King David Hotel or the "Final Solution" , or the Dreyfuss case or The Merchant of Venice or "The Children's Crusade" or Emperor Constantine. Including at every stage those who were honorable or dishonorable . Or , frequently, both.

Jerusalem (CNN) Israel stepped back from approving hundreds of new homes in East Jerusalem on Wednesday, ahead of a speech by US Secretary of State John Kerry on the Obama administration's vision for Middle East peace.
The city council in Jerusalem canceled a vote to approve the construction of 492 units -- such as homes, synagogues and other public buildings -- in areas of East Jerusalem annexed by Israel.

Council member Hanan Rubin, a member of the city's zoning committee, said the decision followed a request from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The settlements are only a part of the issue. Netanyahu is backing away from the two-state solution and has Trump's support.
