All the optimistic bullshit in the papers, saying the Pygment would have trouble revoking Obamacare - they forget he likes big news symbolic stufff the best.

The mortgage thing puzzles me though - what made it rise so high in his to-do list? Or he's just stopping anything that will cost him and The Firm money?

But... the game remains on. We have to borrow from the opposition here. When we lhad a two term Democratic president in the 90s, they investigated and impeached him over nothing and when we had one from 2008-2016, they threw a Teabagger fit.

If anything, I think our side is being too reasonable about Trump. They did not treat Clinton or Obama with any respect. We do not have to offer anything more to His Fraudulency, the president.

Great points, PP. We have got to grab the narrative, for one thing. "Obamacare is a disaster" became truth because it was repeated over and over and NEVER refuted. "Millions of people with coverage for the first time ever" turned out to be too many words, I guess. "If you like your doctor you can keep him" became an epithet without any fact-checking or numbers as to the very few people who did have to get another doctor.

Also, premium increases (sadly, a fact of life ) were only compared to pre-ACA numbers on sites where people already were in favor of it. Many of the people not in favor of it had employer-provided insurance and (believing it was free for everyone except them, and never being corrected) were against it or at best, apathetic. No poll that I ever saw differentiated between responders.

Someone (the DNC?) needs to have a twitter account such as: @trumpiskillingme where people can come and post harm that has been done to them. It can be insurance problems, hate crimes, or any other examples. I don't "twitter" myself, but I understand that videos can be linked to tweets. Somehow the consequences of the trump policies must be available for all to see.

Maybe another one such as @OppositeLand where we can detail the way that every policy has a name that means the opposite of what it does.

We need to think up simple-minded phrasing for progressive policies, and NO, I am not kidding!

For sure we have to concentrate on local work.

My state, Virginia, won a court case on gerrymandering. There should be efforts to do this wherever needed.
