Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Thursday went off in search of a draft of the House Republicans' plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare, creating a storm of controversy gleefully embraced by Democrats.

Paul complained that the ObamaCare bill was being kept in a "secret location." He then walked over to the House side with a copy machine in tow to seek access to a room where he said the bill was being held.

His move quickly created a spectacle, with reporters gathering around Paul for an impromptu press conference [....]

Accurate. The GOP's prime directive is to cut the ACA tax, 3.8%, on investments of the 1%. Put funding on the credit card.

The Republicans will cut the ACA taxes, and whatever funds they need for health care, the Wall, 10000 more federal ICE Gestapo, Trumps we need nukes, the invasion of Syria (to get the terrorists when they believe the whole country is terrorists) etc will be DEFICIT spending, when their voodoo economic plan of 4 1/2 % growth doesn't materialize (fake news!)

Ergo leading to the need to 'save' Medicare for under 50's with vouchers for Wall Strert for profits, and the necesdity to raise the SS retirement age to 69 or so and cut the COLA.

My prediction: um doh limiting tax breaks to business IZ NOT GONNA WORK especially for GOP. They aren't gonna see that it's for the more generous plans (though that is a way to cut health care costs at large and bring down out-of-pocket medical care prices), those that have those plans are going to scream bloody murder along the lines of "this is why I voted for you?!!!

We'll see how that works out.

We'll see how that works out. The republicans have stirred up the base for years over ACA repeal they may not be able to ratchet them back that easily. The other problem is it needs fixes. All the democrats know that and would have tried to fix it if not blocked by republicans. Will the republicans now do the fixing? I doubt it.
