the chronology is pretty much clear in the two pieces I posted yesterday on NCD's thread, they are pretty detailed. These stories were out there all day yesterday and I did here them addressed on MSNBC and CNN and also that the admin. said they didn't know. I don't think it's going to be a big deal about whether they knew or not, because: water over the dam, Flynn's a goner over other things and there's so many other things, including the many Russia links still wide open. Plus I think everyone admits with a shrug that the Trump campaign and admin now just aren't into vetting people or even learning about ethics.

For context, here's CBS reporting the Admin's claim it didn't know of Flynn's work as a foreign agent. So AP may have found that not to be the case.
