Shutting down Yates and choking off her advisement of laws being broken to Congress is an issue that will probably arise again, but under the current chaos of competing scandalous events, it's hard to figure which of old truths & behavior still has the power to stick out among all the others. It used to be Congress had relatively carte blanche to interview anyone and everyone from the Executive Branch, and only in rare occurrences would this be denied. Now the rogue Cheney VP office seems to be the rules-du-jour for the Oval Office.

The Chicago Tribune is frankly stating that the House probe is on hold:

Committee Chairman Devin Nunes' declaration Tuesday that "until [FBI Director James] Comey comes forward, it's hard for us to move forward with interviews and depositions" comes as an indefinite stop order on a roster of expected interviews and testimony, from top Trump campaign surrogates to top intelligence and law enforcement officials serving during the election and transition period.

The Nunes puddle jump from Uber to WH secret Santa is leading to much more than a delay ... this may be the cover up scuttlebutt that sinks the leaking ship.
