Thanks - mostly I like to entertain, so if a bit of rude humor or other angle'll do it, game on.

Occasionally I toy with new ideas, like misspelling all the Titles or repeating the same words. I'm thinking I may start posting Alex Jones-like threads to give the place that Enquirer newsstand vibe I love so much, like "Elvis spawned my alien love child..."

FWIW I never thought people should feel the need to comment on the "In the News" items they post, that that is how it is different from a blog entry. I just always preferred it to be for "this is something I found interesting to read, buyer beware." But then your comments are often the greatest, so that went out the window....

I'd be very careful before using blogs written by this Palmer guy and others like him. Much of his over-the-top predictions have the frenzy of that nut Alex Jones. We shouldn't fall into those traps. Our work now is for 2018 and to win the house back, that is our only way out of the Trump mess, to govern and to do it well.

PP, what is the Palmer Report's source for the explosive claim that Chaffetz “took $10mil donation from Trump the same day he leaked Comey letter.” It's a tweet by LM Garner who describes herself as a "Just an angry citizen on Twitter." She is responding to a post by Louise Mensch but it's not clear what she was referring to. Somewhere down that rabbit hole, someone had mentioned that Trump donated $10M to his own campaign the day after Chaffetz comment on the Comey letter. Somehow that got garbled with the Chaffetz brouhaha and ended up as a headline on Palmer.

I just judged her by her twitter feed, which is full of conjectural accusations, as is that of Claude Taylor, cited by the Daily Kos piece as a well-connected insider because he was a low-level staffer in Bill Clinton's administration.

Note that this main piece is the Palmer Report, which comes across as easier to read, more straightforward links, references doubt where there's doubt, and isn't so Twitter driven.

Not sure I understood how she claimed that Ocean Way Capital in Bahamas was different than another Ocean Way Capital, but I think it's fairly usual to have same names on onshore & offshore basis.
