Really problematic because of the jurisdiction thing. Diplomats can be arrogant about minor law breaking, but this is a new height, suggests a kind of Milgram experiment thing going on where the total control thing becomes quickly contagious. It's like: hey, a reminder that once you step outside that property, you're not in Turkey anymore. Royce and McCain deserve praise for speaking up about this. It really is dissing all of us. Those guards are supposed to work with local law enforcement and if they don't like the situation regarding that, then just protest to the national authorities and if they don't like the answer they can go home.

Thu, 18 May 2017 12:58:05 +0000 artappraiser comment 238029 at http://dagblog.com Well...Trump encourages http://dagblog.com/comment/238017#comment-238017
In reply to Erdogran's Thugs Attack Protesters in Wash DC

Well...Trump encourages violence against protesters too....so why not?

Thu, 18 May 2017 04:12:44 +0000 NCD comment 238017 at http://dagblog.com
