My initial view was that the word could not be captured by one group, The truth is that whites who use the word are criticized. Paula Deen lost a television show for telling the world she had used the word in the past. Has anyone seen Michael Richards? Bill Mahrer had to apologize. Ice Cube was correct when he said the word had been taken back. Snoop can use the word, Martha cannot use the word.So far, most major black news sites are not focused on the story. Most of the drama is at hip-hip and rap sites.

I don't really care. Black rappers will sit around talking trash about each other, but it's the white lady asking about it that's news. Like, uh, forget it - too many brain cells used tackling this silly subject. Blacks have many many bigger fights, but this one's always a better distraction - for whites, for blacks.
