Major self-inflicted damage and he knows it. Threw away his one chance to move up from scumbag gangsta lawyer to white shoe league, the lawyer of the president of the U.S.A., not to mention overseeing many authentic white shoes.

As far as the case(s) are concerned, that's a different story. White shoes might actually like that they have someone with gangsta creds to use at opportune moments so that they don't have to dirty their own reps. On the other hand, sometimes disagreements about how to proceed could get intense. Then one could see: leakers on top of leakers....

Edit to add: the guy writing him may very well have been a Trump supporter, just concerned about how the accusations about Kasowitz could hurt Trump! So the smartest thing to do would be to try to allay his concerns, not threaten him, and make concerns worse. Is basically insane--so in the end, no surprise, standard Trump circle modus operandi?

The story has been updated with a response from a spokesman for Marc Kasowitz?

You bet this weasel is backtracking. "Watch your back , bitch.” and “I already know where you live, I’m on you. " and “you will see me. I promise.” is problematic.

As pointed out in the main part of the article:

When considering whether words constitute a true threat versus protected speech, “the threat has to be credible and the person has to intend to make the victim fear imminent physical harm,’’ said Danielle Citron, a University of Maryland law professor and author of a book on online harassment.

Citron pointed in particular to Kasowitz’s statements: “I already know where you live” and “you will see me. I promise.” She said: “That’s incredibly troubling language. If I’m a prosecutor I’m going to think hard about that.”

I'm glad the individual did this...

The man told us that the email exchange disturbed him so greatly he forwarded it to the FBI so there would be a written record in case Kasowitz followed through on the threat.
