But if you get him on this meme instead of one of his many other allover the map memes on health care, you get some of his fans okay with it. That would make for a big enough group to let a lot of past "repeal and replace" promisers in Congress from the last seven years off the hook.

This interchange was just a week ago: Chuck responds to Trump tweet to broker deal with Democrats for ‘a great’ health-care bill.

I stand by my suggestion: PEOPLE NEED TO PRESSURE THEIR CONGRESSPERSONS RIGHT NOW.

I am seeing a situation being setup where repeal and replace promisers can cover their ass by supporting Alexander/Murray. At this point, after all the damage and the threats Obamacare has gone through, that should be the goal of anyone who knew "how complicated it was". Save the recriminations for the future, stabilize now, give cover to enemies where you can, for now. What is the alternative? The alternative is really to let it be sabotaged and years of pain for a lot of people.

Wed, 18 Oct 2017 16:40:02 +0000 artappraiser comment 244034 at http://dagblog.com Art... the headlines giveth . http://dagblog.com/comment/244029#comment-244029
In reply to New faux enemy: health

Art... the headlines giveth . . .

And the small print make take away.

"There are no guarantees that Republican leadership would bring such a plan to the floor without significant support from rank-and-file members. This is since Obamacare started. Anthem, big company, 270 percent increase. 270 percent. And that’s since ACA, that’s Obamacare," Trump said. "So since Obamacare, Humana, 420 percent increase. Aetna, 470 percent increase. Cigna, 480 percent increase."
