It's haunting.</p> <p>One wishes Joseph Campbell could be around to tie together the Australian aboriginal narratives to the<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firebird_(Slavic_folklore)"> Slavic <em>magical glowing bird from a faraway land, which is both a blessing and a bringer of doom to its captor. Some believe it can see the future. </em></a></p> <p>And how did the two faraway cultures end up having a similar story? Could archeologists find evidence someday, i.e,  was it by Viking ship?
