I not sure you should Meet The Press either.<br /> But I agree that accepting fallibility would have made Comey's thing more relevant.<br /> If he had stuck with accounts of how he got played and shut up about the rest, he would have driven the crowd wild.</p> </div></div></div> Mon, 16 Apr 2018 20:10:00 +0000 moat comment 251438 at http://dagblog.com Yeah, he's sometimes reality http://dagblog.com/comment/251434#comment-251434 <a id="comment-251434"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/251429#comment-251429">Rubin&#039;s points are spot on,</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Yeah, he's sometimes reality challenged. And you'd think we were talking about a different FBI, one that doean't buy explosives for dumb kids and then charge them with planned terrorism with explosives. It's not like I expected them to do the right thing - I just hoped the basic rules would keep them from fucking up too badly. Obviously not - they still ran a red light, smashed into a car, then insisted it didn't happen.</p> </div></div></div> Mon, 16 Apr 2018 19:20:08 +0000 PeraclesPlease comment 251434 at http://dagblog.com Rubin's points are spot on, http://dagblog.com/comment/251429#comment-251429 <a id="comment-251429"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/251428#comment-251428">&quot;Which will define James</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Rubin's points are spot on, unfortunately.<br /> Rather than beat the same horse, I just want to point out one quality of Comey's presentation that I have not seen expressed elsewhere.<br /> A lot has happened and been revealed since he was fired. He sounds like he was shot into space immediately after that event and only fell back Earth in the last two weeks.</p> </div></div></div> Mon, 16 Apr 2018 18:30:30 +0000 moat comment 251429 at http://dagblog.com "Which will define James http://dagblog.com/comment/251428#comment-251428 <a id="comment-251428"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/link/comey-teach-course-ethical-leadership-college-william-mary-24283">Comey to teach course on ethical leadership for College of William &amp; Mary</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>"Which will define James Comey: Honesty or Poor Judgment?", Jennifer Rubin, WaPo opinion piece today: </p> <p><a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/right-turn/wp/2018/04/16/which-will-define-comey-honesty-or-poor-judgment/?utm_term=.b6a488f7f9a9">https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/right-turn/wp/2018/04/16/which-will...</a></p> <p> </p> </div></div></div> Mon, 16 Apr 2018 17:40:40 +0000 AmericanDreamer comment 251428 at http://dagblog.com
