Fox told Maher that events such as the "very sad event" in Florida that left 17 people dead and wounded more than a dozen others was “what you get” when you elect an "aggressive" president such as Trump.

"When you speak out of the White House with this aggressive, violent language, when you discriminate, when you're a racist, that's what you get," Fox said.

"We need harmony, we need love, we need happy communities," Fox added. "And those concepts don't come out of [Trump's] mouth."

So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!

Check out this NYT Jan. 28 article on old New Mexico, from what you are saying here, I think you will like it, as even though it is about some real horrible historical truths it is not the simplistic history we are all taught. It hit me like a ton of bricks, what it said to me in the end is that our racial categories on the census are actually nonsense scientifically in many cases and if one is still going to talk ethnicity, that there really is a American ethnicity now. In many cases people truly don't know how mixed their true ethnicity is, heck Ancestry.com and 23 and Me are surprising them every day. Because: the family oral history doesn't usually include all the taboo stuff that happened over centuries. But we are there now, people have lived on this continent so long and mixed so long that more and more of us are simply Americans without hyphens.
