I lost internet access for a year and forgot to return to it but I checked and discovered it still exists as Reading the Pictures. I'm not sure it maintains the same quality it did some years ago but I guess I'm going to put it back on my list of regularly checked sites. There are also a few books by Wilson Bryon Key discussing the use of subliminals in advertising that are worth reading.

Mon, 05 Mar 2018 22:06:26 +0000 ocean-kat comment 249602 at http://dagblog.com Yes, that is an excellent http://dagblog.com/comment/249599#comment-249599
In reply to I once had the good fortune

Yes, that is an excellent example.
I would call that good fortune, even if you never completely recover.

Mon, 05 Mar 2018 17:45:55 +0000 moat comment 249599 at http://dagblog.com I once had the good fortune http://dagblog.com/comment/249597#comment-249597
In reply to I think he is telling self

I once had the good fortune to have Willuam Burroughs recite the Curse of the Monkey's Paw in his house in Lawrence, KS. The alien is very grateful and, since she's omniscient, offers the following reward: she offers to answer any question the logician might pose. Without too much thought (after all, he's a logician), he asks: "What is the best question to ask and what is the correct answer to that question?" The tiny alien pauses. Your attempts to discourage my exposure of the bigger and quite public agendas in play today does show they have some power that some people think needs to be obscure.
