I expressed skepticism about this along the same lines on Friday here. It's a no brainer to be skeptical, it's so obvious.

That said....

I went to Newseum to look at the layout of the New YorkTimes paper edition today, because I had seen someone mention that it had an incredible headline for the once "Grey Lady" as regards our President. Here it is, and seemed a little more toned down than I was promised:

BUT THEN, the story at the upper left caught my eye, there titled

Icy Maneuvering by U.S. and China in Tech War which on the net is titled For the U.S. and China, a Technology Cold War That’s Freezing Over

And after reading that, seemed to me that there might be a lot of cases like the Iranian one that the FBI is working on. And that all kinds of investigations like that have probably been going on since at least the Obama administration and mostly have nothing to do with Trump. That he's even clueless about what everyone has been doing under him (Yez--deep state, but only because the commander-in-chief is so shallow!) And that Sessions or his toadies picked a case from the huge number being investigated that yes, they did that for anti-Iranian political purposes. But that doesn't necessarily mean it shouldn't be done.

Update: This confirms what z3dster noted: this thing has been sealed since February 7. Why? And why did it get unsealed the day after Bolton was hired?

This was meant to manipulate, clearly. We have to stay on top of it.

Marcy is moving much to close to being an apologist for the Iranians as a response to what I call the Bolton Effect. I think we will see too much of this save the poor Iranians from the Trump/Bolton agression in the near future. Israel will play the key role of rolling back Iranian hegemony in Lebanon and Syria with full US backing and Bolton barking.
