It's funny because he constantly just totally distorts reality. And in real time everybody with him has to pretend like he's not. The New York Times put Liar Liar Pants on Fire on the front page like the week after inauguration and that didn't do any good. Took one question which very clearly was to reassure the stock market, it was clear to me that someone had brought it up with him that his unexpected tariff crap scared the markets. First bragged about how the market's done wonderful since his inauguration, and then some stuff on China about how they were our friends that was basically messaging: don't worry I'm not going to get nuts on this.
