All it shows is that 66% of Millennials haven't memorized the name of the largest Nazi extermination camp. They're designed to further a political agenda. It's similar to polls that reveal that most Americans can't identify Iraq or Afghanistan on a map. I know much more than most Americans about Iraq and Afghanistan yet I couldn't identify them on a map.</p> </div></div></div> Thu, 26 Apr 2018 19:39:46 +0000 ocean-kat comment 251874 at http://dagblog.com There are family members who http://dagblog.com/comment/251873#comment-251873 <a id="comment-251873"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/251870#comment-251870">Jonathan Capehart opinion</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>There are family members who remember relatives who were lynched.</p> </div></div></div> Thu, 26 Apr 2018 17:44:32 +0000 rmrd0000 comment 251873 at http://dagblog.com 66% of Millennials don’t know http://dagblog.com/comment/251872#comment-251872 <a id="comment-251872"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/251871#comment-251871">The Nazis kept out the</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>66% of Millennials don’t know about Auschwitz </p> <p><a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2018/04/12/two-thirds-of-millennials-dont-know-what-auschwitz-is-according-to-study-of-fading-holocaust-knowledge/?utm_term=.bf13ecc7668e">https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2018/04/12/two-thirds-of-millennials-dont-know-what-auschwitz-is-according-to-study-of-fading-holocaust-knowledge/?utm_term=.bf13ecc7668e</a></p> <p>Members of the staff of a D.C. city council member wondered if the blocking off of Jews during Hitler’s time was because the Jews lived in a gated community</p> <p><a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/dc-politics/dc-lawmaker-who-said-jews-control-the-weather-visits-holocaust-museum/2018/04/19/0b69ddde-4329-11e8-8569-26fda6b404c7_story.html?utm_term=.b3a44c76e037">https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/dc-politics/dc-lawmaker-who-said-jews-control-the-weather-visits-holocaust-museum/2018/04/19/0b69ddde-4329-11e8-8569-26fda6b404c7_story.html?utm_term=.b3a44c76e037</a></p> </div></div></div> Thu, 26 Apr 2018 17:35:47 +0000 rmrd0000 comment 251872 at http://dagblog.com The Nazis kept out the http://dagblog.com/comment/251871#comment-251871 <a id="comment-251871"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/251868#comment-251868">If one of them had written a</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>The Nazis kept out the immigrants and united Europe, while the Germans built an excellent wall.</p> </div></div></div> Thu, 26 Apr 2018 17:20:21 +0000 PeraclesPlease comment 251871 at http://dagblog.com Jonathan Capehart opinion http://dagblog.com/comment/251870#comment-251870 <a id="comment-251870"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/251754#comment-251754">Thx for the link.</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Jonathan Capehart opinion piece up on WaPo now (presently among the 6 opinion pieces on the main web page, opinion part): <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/wp/2018/04/26/the-lynching-memorial-ends-our-national-silence-on-racial-terrorism/?utm_term=.5bc99c60566c">https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/wp/2018/04/26/the-lyn...</a></p> <p> </p> </div></div></div> Thu, 26 Apr 2018 17:17:17 +0000 AmericanDreamer comment 251870 at http://dagblog.com True.
