Some tidbits I gleaned today: Trump didn't understand why Crimea annexation would keep Russia away from G7. His Russia G8 inclusion call surprised NSC. He doesn't see allies/adversaries in a bifurcated way. "Our allies don't care about us," he has said repeatedly.
