Very meaty big picture, much to think about.

I.E. one starts to think about the classic problematic concerns of election funding and then the related problem of the increasing ease at which foreigners can lobby. Both a growing problem way before Trump was around. But then one can jump to thoughts about a world where expensive television advertising time becomes increasingly worthless and where skill at manipulating social media is where it's at and how people are increasingly going to echo chamber and ideological "tribes". And where anybody can try their hand at being a "lobbyist"....
