Perhaps it's good that we realize that Fox isn't the sole cause of the radicalization of the right. I'm not sure how many people thought it was the sole cause. But it seems evident that a significant part of the republican party has been radicalized. Better than saying it's not just Fox we need to find out what it is that caused that radicalization and figure out what if anything we can do about it.</p> </div></div></div> Mon, 12 Nov 2018 10:20:49 +0000 ocean-kat comment 261421 at http://dagblog.com lest we forgit, keep in mind, http://dagblog.com/comment/261417#comment-261417 <a id="comment-261417"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/link/brooke-baldwin-trump-and-black-journalists-26712">Brooke Baldwin on Trump and black journalists</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>lest we forgit, a little reminder from Mitt in USA Today that he's gonna be back in DC in Jan.</p> <div class="media_embed"> <blockquote height="" width=""> <p>A free press is not an 'enemy,' it's a pillar of democracy: Mitt Romney <a href="https://t.co/cNswTjbMEg">https://t.co/cNswTjbMEg</a></p> — stuart stevens (@stuartpstevens) <a href="https://twitter.com/stuartpstevens/status/1061807926606749697?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 12, 2018</a></blockquote> </div> <p>Note this part of the lede is not the wishy washy Mitt: . <em>The news media is our friend, not our enemy</em>.</p> </div></div></div> Mon, 12 Nov 2018 09:23:51 +0000 artappraiser comment 261417 at http://dagblog.com Five myths about cable news. http://dagblog.com/comment/261416#comment-261416 <a id="comment-261416"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/link/brooke-baldwin-trump-and-black-journalists-26712">Brooke Baldwin on Trump and black journalists</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p><a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/five-myths/five-myths-about-cable-news/2018/11/09/59e0b088-e3aa-11e8-ab2c-b31dcd53ca6b_story.html?utm_term=.b66496784557">Five myths about cable news.
