It would take about the same time to find the opposite opinion about delisting MEK. You already linked to two. Some or most of the people mentioned in the various links which have proven elements of their history which I believe should be considered next time they run for office will in fact run next time. I do not demonize or hate Hillary to any extent beyond the way you deify her.

This article took me 20 secs to Google: - anti-MEK, but explaining/accepting Clinton's decision. I'm sure there are others that shine more light on it, if you actually care.

But that's ok, people still can't find her speech to Congress in 2002, or the long Atlantic or WaPo article interviewing her about the coalition against Qaddafi. Same shit, different day.

Hillary's also not going to fight off a high dollar lobbying effort that has a ton of congressional support linked to other important legislation I'm sure. If your takeaway is that she's the sole demon despite the rest of our system, well, that's bizarre. All decisions made during Obama's presidency are ultimately Obama's responsibility. We simply don't know what discussions happened behind the scenes and what Hillary advised in reference to MEK. I doubt that anyone believes that MEK has become a force for democracy in the region. At most they believe they can be used to destabilize other factions that are even worse. But here's an unfortunate reality in the region. America doesn't want democracy in the region. I don't want it. Democracy will likely result in the people voting in fundamentalist theocrats to rule in most countries.

You make a point I agree with. I doubt that Clinton delisted MEK without clearing the decision with Obama, but I would also bet that she could have prevented that action if that is what she had wished to do. The decision was made by her in her name as Secretary of State. If it was a bad decision, as I believe it was, and was the result of money corrupted politics creating the right climate, then Clinton's role certainly needs mention whether she made her decision for reasons good or bad or merely a part of the game. Maybe those who raked in money and perks to rally for MEK really believed that MEK had changed its heart and soul and tactics and purpose and they were able to convinced Hillary and her boss Obama that MEK had done so and that they now deserved being considered acceptable as a legitimate organization no longer using terrorist tactics.

Pillar’s synopsis was of one of the very articles that you linked to above and which he also praised and linked to in his piece. I read it before posting my link In the News. Glad to know that you think it was worth looking at to know more of the overall situation in which Hillary chose to delist MEK.

Giuliani hasn't really stopped all his foreign travel and intrique since he announced he was joining Trump's legal team in April.

Here he is doing another one of his frequent MEK gigs in June.
