This is the same old same old wacko conservative 1/3 of the population we've been dealing with for decades, who will vote for the toughest right winger they can. The higher approval ratings are no doubt due to it's the economy stupid; the extra percentage are probably people that are glad there is low unemployment, so they say they approve of the job he is doing. Approval rating doesn't necessarily mean they will vote for him nor even that they did vote for him. Probably a significant number of those still have the idea that he might work to change the health care situation. And like many Americans don't give a shit about foreign policy nor the problems of refugees.
