He's wise to resist another closed door round that demands an even wider fishing expedition that would produce more leaks and warping of his words and their meaning in the fake news media. He knows that Mueller is very anxious to frame him by tying him directly to the wikileaks and Assange by any means available.</p> <p>It would be very entertaining seeing him at an open public hearing with a much more limited scope where he could turn the overanxious fishermen into cut-bate with his sharp and deadly wit.</p> </div></div></div> Wed, 05 Dec 2018 02:38:30 +0000 Peter comment 262103 at http://dagblog.com Wasn't Camille Paglia walled http://dagblog.com/comment/262094#comment-262094 <a id="comment-262094"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/link/roger-stone-invokes-fifth-amendment-dodge-congressional-committee-s-fishing-expedition-26900">Roger Stone Invokes Fifth Amendment to Dodge Congressional Committee’s ‘Fishing Expedition’</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Wasn't Camille Paglia walled off in a block of ice at the North Pole for the last 20-30 years?<br /> How's she doing  anyway?</p> </div></div></div> Wed, 05 Dec 2018 01:15:07 +0000 PeraclesPlease comment 262094 at http://dagblog.com From US v Hubbell (2000): pic http://dagblog.com/comment/262092#comment-262092 <a id="comment-262092"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/link/roger-stone-invokes-fifth-amendment-dodge-congressional-committee-s-fishing-expedition-26900">Roger Stone Invokes Fifth Amendment to Dodge Congressional Committee’s ‘Fishing Expedition’</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p> </p><div class="media_embed"> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-cards="hidden" data-lang="en" height="" width=""> <p dir="ltr" lang="en" xml:lang="en">From US v Hubbell (2000): <a href="https://t.co/KdwnnRxOIc">pic.twitter.com/KdwnnRxOIc</a></p> — Benjamin Wittes (@benjaminwittes) <a href="https://twitter.com/benjaminwittes/status/1070084523281530881?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 4, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async="" charset="utf-8" height="" src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" width=""></script></div> <p> </p><div class="media_embed"> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-conversation="none" data-lang="en" height="" width=""> <p dir="ltr" lang="en" xml:lang="en">There may be what the court has termed testimonial qualities of the act of producing documents, but the documents themselves are not protected by the 5th Amendment.</p> — Benjamin Wittes (@benjaminwittes) <a href="https://twitter.com/benjaminwittes/status/1070085450717646848?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 4, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async="" charset="utf-8" height="" src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" width=""></script></div> </div></div></div> Wed, 05 Dec 2018 00:42:08 +0000 artappraiser comment 262092 at http://dagblog.com
