White Evangelicals have a skewed view of the Bible. Obedience to the President did not apply under Obama. In addition, Evangelicals who tell others to obey Trump forget that the Biblical Paul was executed for not obeying Roman rules. Jesus Christ was crucified for not obeying a ruler’s demands.

Thanks, good to know about The Trump Prophecy movie, I had not seen anything about it til now! Explains a lot! 700 Club on board, explains even more. These are people who have long taken pains not to partake of pop culture so as not to be contaminated by "Hollywood." I was thinking bout this the other day: as the right wing Christian coalition faithful lose more and more of the young people that used to try to stay, there's no one around to even challenge total delusion. I would suspect it all probably getting even more cultish than it ever was, and easier prey for this kind of stuff than ever before.
