I fear "a pox on all your houses" reaction if there's a lot of nastiness within the party.Sassy is OK but I feel they have to offer an alternative to the righteous anger thing. We all know Trumpies anger is more faux than righteous but it's all the same to most people in a "can we just stop the insanity?" kind of way. I know you like the aggressive fighter type but I just have this intuition that it's really going to come down to knowing how to stop feeding trolling and presenting a sunny calming assurance. It's not fair to compare in a way, he had a talent for not losing his gravitas in that job where most do lose it and are humiliated. That actually came back to bite him, mho, when he was running himself, he was a bit too arrogant towards W in some debates. (And there's the everyman/lunchpail thing creeping in there I mentioned in my other comment about Joe. I don't vote like that, but a lot of people do, like my mother, who had extreme emotional I.Q., an empath, but a high school education. She judged candidates on how they interact with others. Like Alice Roosevelt Longworth's famous comment about Coolidge: He looks as though he's been weaned on a pickle!--that kind of thing.)

Sat, 30 Mar 2019 19:22:43 +0000 artappraiser comment 266339 at http://dagblog.com
