What is new with even GOP leader modus operandi is that they are playing victim card uber all their other traditional tools (i.e. NCD noted classics lie, hate and act to undermine our democracy et. al.) When they used to disparage same. Think like Newt, he wouldn't do victimhood. This is something they have learnt from the sick narcissist President! He used it successfully to get the presidency in the right districts everybody was always fighting over. But he never stops using it because it's also a sicko very personal thing with him, he's bitter about anything that hurts his self-image, won't let it go, presumes everyone is "mom" would would care. Here's the tweet that struck me:

Let’s say for argument’s sake that the crowds filled out later and he’s semi-right. It’s two years later. Who cares? https://t.co/FJkpFKnoCI
— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) March 2, 2019

Past CPAC of days gone by would never stand for such a goofy whiner! Whining whining ego victimhood all the time. Like a child! Exactly what they used to mock. Now they don't just agree, they use it: the media coverage, it is a plot against us, this is why we can't succeed even though we've had majorities, this is why we accomplished nothing.

Sun, 03 Mar 2019 01:18:15 +0000 artappraiser comment 265499 at http://dagblog.com Democrats in the House are http://dagblog.com/comment/265337#comment-265337
In reply to McConnell Plays Victim in NC GOP Vote Fraud

Democrats in the House are starting the effort to restore the Voting Rights Act.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/feb/24/we-should-be-outraged-alabama-congresswoman-tackles-voter-suppression

Edit to add:

A Republican inspired voter ID law in North Carolina was struck down

https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/05/15/528457693/supreme-court-declines-republican-bid-to-revive-north-carolina-voter-id-law

Wed, 27 Feb 2019 13:24:45 +0000 rmrd0000 comment 265337 at http://dagblog.com
