I notice that video footage of Trump's faux pas in Helsinki , responding to the charge that Putin had instigated the tampering with our election "I don't see why he wouldn't" has been redacted with (evidently) no more difficulty than a written transcript. Video now, even as displayed by relatively unfriendly sources, shows what I know (from having seen the original) to be a deep fake, in which he sais "I don't see why he WOULD".

Struck me as a new way of dealing with the problem he has, influenced by Trumpism: just straight out lie about reality because the news cycle moves so fast that they'll forget and move on to the next thing. I am curious, though, why someone like him would even accept to be interviewed, that's the thing. Trump does it because of the narcissism, he loves attention. But why is Prince doing an interview?
